solo.
this was the final activity to end a long day.
long story short, while i took marley and lincoln to change a diaper,
i guess beckham was playfully yelling in a teammates face while waiting for their turn to go in.
i didn't see this but when i walked back to sit down he came up to me and told me that this girl had called him a 'fat baby head.'
i didn't know which girl or what had happened because of diaper changing.
i said to beckham while fighting to keep lincoln off the court, that he should ask her to please not say those things.
right after i said this, the mom, who i was walking in front of,
let me know that he was yelling in her face and she didn't like it.
i apologized and said i wasn't aware and led beckham over to this girl to apologize.
he shouldn't have been yelling in her face.
my beef?
is it ever ok to justify your child's name calling?
my answer is no.
keep telling your kids it's ok to name call if they don't like what someone is doing or saying.
that's how we get bullies.
boo to bullies.
yeah, my kid was all over the place, yelling and dancing and hugging the opposing team and sliding in between the refs legs.
we are working on things.
but you should have told your child name calling isn't justified.
thats all.
he is number 10.
