lost

I just finished brushing my teeth, rinsing my mouth and went to put my toothbrush away when I realized I was no longer at the bathroom sink where I had started out,
but had at some point migrated to the kitchen sink, where there is no place for my toothbrush.
Does that ever happen to you?
It is a first for the toothbrush specific wandering.
I think I am thrown off today by the heat.
