I hate alarms.
I hate the sound of them.
I hate what they do.
I don't set them unless its 4 a.m and it means If I don't get up I'll miss the plane to Cabo.

Since having kids 4 1/2 years ago, I have set an alarm maybe 3 times.
They all involved waking up to catch a plane.

The kids are my alarm.

Mornings are rough.

I wanted to try something that would let me catch my breath and put pants on before the kids came running and needing.
I slept with the blinds open.
I woke up to the sun, and my bladder.
Not sure which order.
But it was nice.
I had about 2 min. sans kids to pee by myself and brush my teeth.

Thank you sun.
Good Morning to you too.

A morning in Cabo.  I think it's time for another vacation.

So true about not needing alarms after kids arrive! Now that our boys are a little older we've taught them to stay in bed until 7 on their digital clocks and how to turn on the tv by themselves (we always check the channel and volume before we go to bed).
Take a vacation, you deserve it!! :)

Anna's not a believer, but for what it's worth, I often will try and set my alarm for my best guess of about 15 minutes before the first wave of kid energy. If I'm awake with my alarm, psychologically it feels like I'm awake on purpose, because I WANTED to be awake then. Lessens the feelings of being snatched from sleep by some interloper. On a good day, I can get a head start on brushing my teeth and stuff, but that's getting greedy. :)
