I just made this:
But the orange didn't sound good to me,(or I didn't have the ingredients) so I made some frosting to smear in between and on top.
I made a list of meals I will attempt this week.
We are on a tightttttt budget so I had to choose from things I could make with our food storage and what produce I have on hand until pay day.
Monday-
Tuesday-
grilled squash and quinoa salad
(I'll make it up as I go)
Wednesday-
homemade cheese pizza
(I didn't like the last recipe I used so I'll need to find a new one online for a good wheat dough.)
Thursday-
Friday-
Surprise me.
(leftovers)
And yes, we ate the cake for dinner.
And yes, it was awesome.
Remember, I'm a REALLY good mom.

My mother-in-law's wheat dough (and bread) is the best I've ever had - and I really don't like wheat. Ever. Here's the recipe in case you're interested:
1 7/8 cup warm water
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup margarine
(mix 3 above ingredients together first)
5 cups of wheat flour – freshly ground
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. yeast
2 tbsp gluten
2 tbsp dough enhancer
Then throw it all in a bread maker (or do it by hand if you prefer).
Trust me, it's good. And she makes pizza with it all the time. Good luck!
