Nate and I ran the Irvine 1/2 marathon yesterday morning and we are both in a little bit of pain today. Nate and his friend made their goal time of 1:43:00, and I came in RIGHT behind them at 1:58:00. Ha Ha. I tried to keep up with them at the beginning and I'm sure that's why I crashed half way through. My goal was to finish under 2 hours, and I barely slipped in there. We had a fun time and it is always a great feeling of accomplishment to push yourself physically like that. I am grateful for our health that allows us to do fun things like this. Our next race is the Ragnar LA relay from Santa Barbara to Dana Point. That one isn't until April, so I am definitely going to take a few days off. Thanks to Nana and Papa D for watching the kiddos for us.

Great Job! That is the EXACT same time I got on my half marathon a few years ago. I was just so happy to be under 2 hours! I was supposed to run another half in a few weeks but my ankle is bothering me. Hopefully I will finish another one someday. Thanks for inspiring me to go running again tomorrow!
Dang Jeanine...awesome job! I can't believe how great you look after just having a baby. I wish I could run one mile let alone 13. Way to go!
Good job! That's awesome. How nice to not have freezing weather in December!! I've heard those Ragnar relays are so fun - start running in the middle of the night ;)
You're both amazing, and Nate - you look a little Gangster-ish with the black and gray (the bandanna really is the finishing touch). I wish I could have been there. Again, you're amazing.
You inspire me!
You are the WOMAN! I am so impressed.
I've always thought it would be fun to run a half marathon or 5K and then I remember; I hate running. nice work.
Nice job! I'm impressed with both your dedication to training before the race and actually following through and doing the race. And good work getting in just under goal - better 2 minutes under than over!
Awesome, great job!
good work you guys!!!
