Tagarama

I thought I was going to be lucky enough to get a nap in with both kids asleep.  But, as soon as I put my head on the pillow Marley woke up.  Maybe next time.  So, since I'm up, and am feeling in no way like doing something productive, I'm going to answer a Tag from Amber.
Six quirky things about me...

1.  I LOVE making lists and checking them off.  In college, I was obsessed with my planner.  I had so much fun making my list for the day and checking things off one by one.  Sometimes, like today, If I do something (like a load of laundry) and don't write it on my list, I will go back and write it, just so I can check it off.  I have become much more relaxed since having kids, and realizing that my day rarely goes as planned.

2.  I can't fall asleep without the t.v on.  I set the sleep timer every night, or put a dvd on and nap on the couch.  I have tried sleeping without it, but I always end up lying there for an hour, just thinking.  My brain goes crazy without a distraction.

3.  I hate talking on the phone.  We don't have a home line, and I am a big time call screener on my cell.  I never answer if I don't know who it is, and even if I do, I don't always answer.  I listen to my messages and call back if it's important.

4.  I won't eat potatoes.  Only french fries that are crispy.  If they taste to much  like potato I won't eat them.  Gross.

5.  I get Melasma with my pregnancies.  It's sometimes called the pregnancy mask, and is hyper-pigmentation of the skin.  I get dark splotches above my lip, on my nose, cheeks, and forehead.  I have to wear sunscreen and keep my face covered, and even then, I still get it.  I have had people tell me that I have dirt on my face.  It fades a little after birth, but not completely.  I hate it, because it means I have to wear makeup to cover it up, and I never wear makeup.  And besides that, it always looks like I have a mustache.  I decided that when I'm done having babies, I'm going to go get the laser treatment to remove it.  It costs like $800 so I better start saving.

6.  I always keep my toenails short.  I hate it if I can ever feel them with my other toes.  Sometimes I clip them so short I have to paint the skin when I put polish on.  My feet feel dirty when my toenails aren't short.

I think everyone I know has done this tag, so there you have it.  If you're quirky things have changed, or you've grown some new ones give us an update.

your lists! I became much more of a list checker-offer after Nezdeh...

Aw, Jeanine you're such a good sport. This was fun to read! I like lists too, but not quite as much as you :)

I'm glad you found me! And it actually makes me feel better that you gained 50 lbs. with Beckham - you look fantastic now, so that means there's hope for me. I looooove the wall hangings you put up in your apartment, by the way.

P.S. After living with you more than once, I did not even know a single one of the quirky things about you. Good to know!

I was planning on offering you the other half of my BFF charm necklace after reading about your love for checklists but now I am having second thoughts seeing that you do not share my love of potatos. Luckily I believe we now live in a world where potato lovers and haters can coexist peacefully.

I get the melasma too and HATE it, but at least I've been mainly pregnant during winter.

No wonder you haven't talked to me in months!!!

I would like you and Rach to know that I've already gained 40lbs. and have 6 weeks left!!!
