I have been shut inside watching the news since Sunday. And, I keep finding this old Billy Joel classic http://www.mediafire.com/?1fe20extxlkrunning through my mind. My heart goes out to all who have been affected by the fires. It is a surreal experience to have a natural disaster going on in your back yard. Not literally, we have no yard, but even if we did, we are not close enough to the fires to be in any serious danger. We do however have horrible smoke induced allergies, ash on the car, and have been told it is better to stay indoors till we get some relief from the weather, and the smoke clears. The sunrises and sunsets have been hauntingly breathtaking. Literally red. We here on the coast should be seeing some cooler temps and higher humidity this weekend. Thank heavens. I hope it cooperates in the canyons as well.
I need to do a follow up on the radicalness of Disneyland during Halloween. I'll save that for next time.

Glad to hear you're okay. I've been worrying about everyone in Ca.
hey, if it did get you guys, you have a place to stay in the desert anytime! and how funny, and not at the same time, the billy joel song.
Jeanine, I was wondering how close you guys were to all of that. How scary! We have smoke up here in Las Vegas so I can't even imagine how bad it is at your house, so close.
Kinda sad, but I had to laugh at the Billy Joel song too. I can't wait for the disneyland radicalness!
I've been wondering about you down there with all the fires. Glad to know you're safe even if it means you've been denied fresh air since Sunday. I've been praying for some relief to Cali and all those affected.
What is up Jeanine! It's been a while. The fires down here have been crazy, huh. It's cool to see your blog and feel free to check ours out (it's not really "ours" because Kim does everything). Say hello to Nate for me, and by the way, Beckham is adorable!
Later,
Danny
