we moved on saturday.

and today it's really, really official because the sale of our house posted.
i was giddy when i saw our bank account.
that is never the case.
now we just need to find another house to spend it on.

i decided moving is kind of the worst.
it was hard and exhausting. 
and confusing.
and made me want to burn half of all we own.

but we were ready for a change.
and our family is growing.
and we like a little adventure.

so while we are house hunting here in trojan territory, 
we are renting a townhouse in a complex with other USC faculty.  
it is great community so far.
and i am over the moon about the air conditioning.
hope cooler weather comes soon,
because once we get the first utilities bill i will be cringing i'm sure.

i feel thankful for all of the help we got.
for all of the heavy lifting and support. 
for a comfortable place to come to.
i don't think anyone could go through the process alone.

and i am thankful it is over,
for now.
nate and i like each other again.
stress is not pretty sometimes.
