I am blown away.
Nate and I were trying to scrounge up costumes to wear to the trunk-or-treat that night.
We never made it.
We headed to the hospital around 11:30 p.m, and he was born very quickly, at 12:23 a.m.
This beautiful, sensitive, brilliant kid rocks our world everyday.
We are so full of gratitude for this day, 5 years ago, when we became parents.
Beckham has an important job as a big brother, and even at 5 years old, he is aware of it.
He knows how to compromise and make sacrifices for his siblings, to keep the peace in the house.
He teaches us every day.
He is so quick to say Thank You, and to express his love for us.
I feel like my heart will explode as I think about the possibilities that lay ahead for this little guy.
