Moroccan Christmas

Saturday night we had a lovely dinner with a group of Nate's colleagues and their significant others.
Dar Maghreb on Sunset.
No Plates, or utensils.
Towels were handed out to cover our laps.
Things got messy.
We ended up with a small plate and spoon around course 4 or 5.
It was welcomed!
Our waiter.  He was actually Turkish.  Not Moroccan.  I didn't mind.

 Pre-meal communal hand washing.
 Pass the soap.
Lamb, quail, shrimp, chicken, couscous, lentil soup, chicken pastry, eggplant, peppers, and an endless basket of warm bread.

Mint tea served after dinner with pastry, fruit and nuts.

 Dessert?

Open air courtyard.

It was a fun time.
If you are ever in the area, I would recommend it.
After all the yummy food, I am itching to travel!
