Yes, it was reduced to ONE isle.
The other 8 Holiday isles had already ushered in the Christmas Season.
What happened to Thanksgiving?
Can't they sell ceramic turkeys and elastic pants?
I shouldn't have been shocked, but I was.
You know when you walk through the store having a one ended conversation out loud,
because your babies don't pay much attention to the the consumer driven society obsessed with money and commercializing Holidays.
It didn't come out of my mouth that way in the store,
I kept repeating, "seriously? Christmas already?"
I don't think anyone paid attention to my dismay.
There were some great deals on ornaments though.
Good job Target, I am just like the rest of them.
On the bright side, the kids have been interested in dress up,
and I got a fairy costume and a ninja costume for $6.
Thank you Halloween clearance isle.
So, I am going to Thanksgiving the crap out of November.
My first move?
I bought 5 boxes of stuffing while at Target for $5.
That's right.
Here come paper hand turkey's and "I am Thankful for..." talks every night with the kids.
I may even try my hand at Pumpkin Pie.
I have already been inspired this morning from some of my blog roll reads.
Ways that they are celebrating the Thanksgiving season.
What will you be doing this month to show gratitude and give Thanks?
