lazy killed the "L"

every few weeks I clean the keyboard with a wet wipe.
maybe not the best move, but i hate seeing the keys slowing turning grimy from sticky, dirty fingers.
saturday when I went to wipe it down, there was only one wet wipe left in the bag i keep in the kitchen.
you know this one?
it's really, really wet.  it sits in all the excess juices day after day.
i knew it wasn't a good idea when i started wiping, but the thought of having to walk all the way back to the babies room for a fresh bag was enough for me to go against my better judgement.
our house is 900 sq. feet.
yes, i can be lazy at times.
this time it cost me dearly.
it cost me my keyboard.
i tried the blow dryer several times.
it has been sitting out for 24 hours.
some keys have come back from the dead, but there are plenty of critical ones that have not been revived.
the "L" for example, and numbers 4-7.
it will also start beeping at random.
it is not looking good.
i really did know better.
i hate paying for stupid mistakes that could have been avoided had i not been lazy.
i am typing this from the laptop and it is just not the same.
my fat fingers are making a mess of themselves on this tiny little thing.
hopefully target or costco carry keyboards because that is where i shop when kids are in tow.
which is always.
we shall see...
p.s, how do you clean your keyboards???
p.s.s,
this is the last picture that was uploaded onto the laptop.
it has been a long time.
