Gnarley Marley
We celebrated Marley Anne's 2nd birthday on Saturday. Some french toast for breakfast at 6 am. Followed by some candy eating. The neighbors brought over a gift and I couldn't snag the candy before she saw it. Nana and Papa came and had lunch with us. I made a great baked Macaroni and cheese from the Real Simple cookbook, and Anne brought her fabulous orange, avocado, and poppy seed dressing salad. Marley got a play kitchen and some dishes for her gift. There have already been some pretty nasty fights between her and Beckham over it. It was inevitable. We finished off with some cupcakes. It was a wonderful day with our little girl!

Marley is a smart and funny little girl. She is VERY competitive and challenges our patience daily. She has a scream that is off the charts loud and makes my blood boil like NOTHING else. She wants whatever her brother has. She loves pink things and picking out her own clothes in the mornings. She doesn't like t.v, but gets super excited when Little Einsteins is on. She is a helper and always wants to be helping mom and dad. She unloads the dishwasher and helps do laundry, and loves brushing her teeth. She loves playing outside, getting dirty, digging holes and carrying little things around in her pockets and purses. Yes, she has MANY bags and purses and hates leaving the house without one in the crook of her arm. She stuffs it with anything and everything, cars, trains, keys, animals, and phones. She loves to hug and kiss and cuddle and melts our hearts, when she wants to! What an adventure we are going to have with her. We are so blessed to have her in our family and thankful for her feisty, strong spirit.
