Binkies.....I tried to find every binkie possible in the whole house and then I cut the rubber part off of each one. I cut off as much of the rubber part as a could so there was nothing left to suck on. I put them all on her bed and she "found" them a couple of hours later. She thought it was odd and a little funny at first. We talked about what could have happened to them. ( I definitely did NOT tell her I did it). We settled on that an animal must've come in the house and bit the tips off. I said something like, "what are you going to do tonight when you go to sleep?" She said she didn't know. And I said, "how about you hold Stu (a stuffed animal) instead of your binkies and he'll help you fall asleep?" She said ok. Naps have been tougher without them, but overall, it's all been great. I wish I would've done it a while ago. I was so sick of looking for dang binkies all the time.

Now we did the same thing with Tanner and he stopped sleeping through the night for 1 1/2 years. So no promises here. Kate was a dream, and Tanner was a nightmare.

Good luck. Good luck and good luck. = )
