Pop. 341

The kids and I spent this last week here:HPIM2039 My Dad's brother and my Grandma have this lovely cabin which is just outside of Thayne, Wyoming. Population 341. No stop lights could be found in this quaint Star Valley town. No T.V, no Internet, lots of mosquitoes, lots of gravel roads, and a whole lot of Beautiful. Here are some highlights:HPIM2031Hanging out with Grandpa
HPIM2032The rest of the gang
HPIM2052Marley getting some fresh air
HPIM2061big buffalo in Jackson Hole
HPIM2068Beckham back from his jaunt around the lake
HPIM2072Marley all suited up so she could eat...all day
HPIM2063Sleeping arrangements. Marley slipped between the two twin beds the three of us occupied. I had to snap a pic when I woke up and saw this. It didn't seem to bother her one bit.

My camera died before I could snap a picture of the ginormous moose we found in the driveway Friday morning. I had to blink several times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It really was spectacular to see such a majestic creature close up. It munched on some leaves for a few min. then made it's way up the mountain side.
There were a few rough moments with the kids not sleeping and me being Nate-less, but my family was very helpful and patient.
Nate flew into Salt Lake Saturday morning and I picked him up on my way out of Wyoming so he could make the drive home with me. We of course had to stop in St. George for some Cafe Rio. Yum! Leftovers were eaten after church today. Good thing we are getting one here in so cal in 2010.
Thanks for use of the cabin and a fun vacation family!
