Sundays with kids remind me of Sundays as a missionary. Not at all peaceful and relaxing. The COMPLETE opposite. Totally stressful and crazy and tiring. Well, we survived church, hallelujah. And after some naps and food, the house was WAY to hot to hang out in so we drove up the street to the Trump National Golf Course and went for a walk. It's right on the beach and they have public access through the course. It's really beautiful, and more like looking over a cliff than right on the beach. It ended up being so much farther than we had anticipated, so we were all a little hot and sweaty half way down. We made Nate run up and bring the car down to get us. The point of my story is that I'm glad we were able to get out and have a fun, relaxing afternoon after such a crazy morning with the kids at church. It helps me to still enjoy the sabbath day.

I totally agree with your analogy of sundays with kids and sundays as a missionary...Neither are relaxing for totally different reasons!
