Armenia?

I have been experiencing some major jealousy this week an account of my BIL Chase. Chase is Nate's youngest brother, and is ridiculously interesting and smart. It runs in the family I guess. We all love Chase because he is "special." Not the short bus special, which is also a wonderful kind of special, this all being said with sensitivity and seriousness. Chase is just good, and kind, and brilliant and making his own tracks in the snow. Upon returning home from serving a mission in Boston, Haitian Creole speaking, he spent a year back at school, making the Dean's list of course, and is now studying at Cambridge for the summer. As he left for the airport on Saturday, I was so happy for him and SO jealous. He is going to be hob nobbing with the ridiculously interesting and smart all summer, you know, his kind of people. And not to mention the fact that he is in Harry Potter land and it's oh so romantic in a Harry Potter sort of way. After Chase left, I felt some longing for my carefree day's of traveling and adventures. Nate reminded me that we are on a different adventure now, you know, kids, house etc. And while I am truly grateful for this adventure we are currently in, I still miss the other kind. Taking off last min. to go camping, going to Vegas, to California (this is while in Utah.) Christine and I and our month long tour of pubs with crazy Australians in 11 European countries. My bathroom tour of Florence due to some bad meat in Greece. My adventure to Armenia, which I didn't even know was a place, my own fault, not the school system's of course. Skiing the Alps in Switzerland with my family after my mission. I have been on some GREAT adventures. The funny thing is, I can remember at one point during most of those trips, wishing I had "someone special" to share those moments with. So, turns out, I have my someone special now, and two little specials, and I will see to it that we get to take some of the other kinds of adventures as well. In the mean time, I will live vicariously through Chase. And come to think of it, If I were there, I would spend most of the time flipping through a dictionary trying to figure out what all the ridiculously smart people were talking about.

These are some pictures from Armenia and Switzerland.
