Sweat Equity
Nate and I really wanted to do "before" and "after" pics on everything in our house, but when we initially moved in, it was such a mad rush to get the house clean, painted, and livable, that taking pictures was the least of our concerns. Now that we are settled for the time being, we have started taking a few pictures so we can document the big projects. When we bought the house, there was a old broken chain link fence around the property. Well, the fence project was number one on the list for safety reasons with the kids. The project commenced on thursday night, and has been going strong since. Darrell has been crashing up here on our floor so that he and Nate can work late and start early. I took some pics of the progress so far, and I am thrilled. They are working so hard on this and it is showing. My only job is to keep them fed, and keep the kids out of their way.

Wow, I am so impressed. That is a beautiful fence. They really know what they're doing! I also love your white latticing or your veranda... are you going to grow any lovely vines up it? My favorites are jasmine and honeysuckle because of the wonderful smells, but I think bouiganvia (how the heck do you spell that) is very pretty. I want to grow all these vines in my yard, but Utah won't support them in the winter. boo hoo.
Looking good! How exciting! That is so great that you have a handy husband and father-in-law. It makes projects a heck of a lot cheaper I am sure!
Your fence looks so good! I need a fence too at my new house, what a pain. Post more pictures of your place it looks so cute.
