So when I posted earlier about my impending nose surgery or Septoplasty, my fabulous friend Christine wanted to make sure that it really was due to chronic sinus infections and not to my "Hot LA Lifestyle" to use her words. I love Christine. I have suffered from horrible allergies my entire life and they really are quite debilitating, so I went in to see about allergy shots. While there, they decided on a CT and turns out I've had recurring sinus infections due to my deviated septum, calcified sinuses and swollen turbinates. We tried several rounds of antibiotics and steriods to no avail. A nose job was the next step. I took some pics of me recovering today for your viewing pleasure. I really should have captured the swelling on Tuesday, right after, but I was in bed for the next 24 hours, so this is what we are left with. I am still feeling like I was beat up with a baseball bat, and very congested, but the pain is decreasing and I am not needing so many happy pills. The kids come home tomorrow so I better be ready to play defence on the facial region to avoid any incidents that may undo my Hot LA Nose Job.

Ouch, that looks painful!
Hot LA Lifestyle my eye... that looks painful! You poor thing! I've heard that nose jobs (cosmetic or otherwise)hurt like a mother.
That doesn't sound fun! My dad had to get that same thing done after a sinus infection for 2 months. He was in lots of pain afterwards but now it's so much better! Good luck recovering...
oh i'm so jealous of your Hot LA Lifestyle... ok maybe not. hope it heals quickly and takes care of all the problems!
