I know it sounds horrible but...Last week, Beckham had pneumonia, and the croup. He was really sick, and I felt so bad for him with his fevers, and wheezing and snotting and coughing. We spent the week inside and by the end of the week, I was more exhausted than normal. Although, I must admit that it was nice having a calmer version of Beckham who wanted to sit and rest and cuddle. Well, this week, Becks is almost 100 percent, and, my head is spinning again. I am happy that he feels better, but I am not ready for all of his energy yet. As you can see, he is back to wrestling with Marley. Good thing she is resilient. She loves being near Beckham since that is usually where the action is.

I think every mother has felt this way at some point. You feel horrible that they're sick, but it's nice that they want to be so cuddly!

i have to agree that the sick version of them is nice and mellow. hayden had croup 3 times last year. no fun. and we just found out after 2 months of coughing that he's got asthma. as much as you just want them to be better, it sure is nice to actually get stuff done!
