This was a project Nate and I put together a few weeks back. I got some fun fabric at Ikea, and Nate and Darrell made some wood frames. I used a staple gun and stretched the fabric with some batting over the frames. We really like the way it turned out. We made 6 panels for under $40. The first is in our living room and the other is of the kid's room.

Jeanine, I would love to have you come decorate my house. I'm hopeless with this kind of thing! I love what you did.
love love love it. Be careful though, creatvity like this while wonderfully brilliant and talked about in general R.S. meetings can only lead to one thing... enrichment counselor.
What a cute idea! I'm so not creative like that. I just might have to copy the concept :)
Love it! I might want to copy. I have been wanting to paint on some canvas to hang up, but it would probably be ugly since I've never painted before! Maybe fabric would look better.
Anyway, I love it!
Hey! Nick's at my house and showed me Chase's blog which of course led to yours. I've been meaning to call you guys and have you over for a BBQ.
And can I just say I'm flipping out? I totally had the same blog header for a while & I've been eyeing these fabrics (in the top picture) for the longest time now. Jeanine- love your style. We need to hang out!
So creative! They turned out great! I've seen stuff like that on HGTV, but am too afraid to attempt stuff like that. Living in a duplex rental, though, we could sure use a splash of color like that since we can't paint our steril white walls!
I love it! It gives so much style to your house. I will definitely be asking David to make some of those frames so that I can decorate like you! :)
