Pretty in pink

Since we got back from vacation last week, we have had some good news. My growing waistline isn't just from to many holiday snacks, but is actually the cause of a little baby girl. We found out the flavor on Friday. I am about 20 weeks along, and she should be visiting us at the end of May or beginning of June. I found out I was prego when I was about 7 weeks along, we just wanted to wait a bit to share the news. The second part of this good news is that we got the two bedroom apartment we were going for the same day we found out about the baby. There's NO way I'm squeezing 2 kids in a one bedroom. The apt. makes our current brown shag carpet look modern, but it does have way more room and is on the affordable side of 2 bedrooms here in El Segundo. It is just a mile up the same street we live on now so the move shouldn't be to bad, and my mom is flying in to help us out. I'm sure we will be making several trips to IKEA to fix the place up. I feel very thankful and blessed after getting all this good news. I'm driving down to Long Beach this afternoon to pick up a portable dishwasher I bought off Craigs list, because I'm not ready to hand wash all my dishes yet. It was only $150 and will be worth my sanity after having another baby around the house to take care of. So, the next few weeks will be full of packing and organizing, but I'm always up for a project.
