Everything I've ever wanted I can get at COSTCO
I was at Costco yesterday stocking up on diapers and wipes for the month and I picked up a few Christmas presents. I am like a kid in a candy store when I walk through the portal to plenty. It is beautiful to me. I haven't been to a mall in a while, I have no desire to go when I could just go to costco and find a litle bit of everything for a great price, and leave with a hot dog and churro for $2.50. Sometimes If we have some time to kill, Beckham and I will just go walk the store for an hour. Just for kicks. I don't usually end up buying anything, but it's comforting to know that if I did ever need a 5000 pack of paper plates, an air compressor, a pair of shoes, and some lobster, I would know where to go to get it all. I remember my first trip to a mega store after coming home from living in Armenia for 18 months. I got in the car after and cried. I needed to buy shampoo and I couldn't understand why there were 500 different kinds to choose from in bottles bigger then my thigh. I had become accustomed to the 2 choices available. It was so simple. Well, needless to say, I bounced back quickly and remembered why I loved America and our obsession with choices and being able to find exactly what we want, where we want, when we want. The point to my ranting is that I LOVE COSTCO. I could also write an ode to Target, but I will spare you all. Happy Saturday. I got my camera fixed so I'll start taking some pictures this weekend and have something to post on Monday.

Wonderful point, Niner. Be it Costco, Target, Home Depot or Safeway, it's capitalism and freedom that make it all possible. And I still have most of a 5000 count of envelopes that we bought at costco 15 years ago!
LOVE costco. They carry everything you need in polygamous size:) I'm with ya on the theraputic value of stores. Target is one of mine too.
Costco and Target are my absolute favorites! I have nicknamed Costco the $100 store though. I have a hard time going in there and not spending at least that much. Yes, I have issues. Even though there is a Costco less than a mile from my house - I try to only go once a month or I get sucked into buying things I don't really "need". I should try that same plan with Target but I manage to get to that store every week . . . oops!
I totally agree with you about Costco! Do they give free samples at the one by you? I've figured out the best times to go. :) We really like the pudding snacks and fruit snacks there. :)
Wow, you sound like my husband. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE costco, but Shad pretty much refuses to buy anything unless Costco carries it. I am being dead serious. When we don't even need anything, he goes there just for fun and comes home with a crapload of things we "need."
